2       Dentistry - evidence session with British Dental Association Wales and British Orthodontic Society

2.1 The Committee received evidence from representatives of the British Dental Association Wales and the British Orthodontic Society.

2.2 Ben Lewis noted that information would be published in autumn 2022 in the British Dental Journal about the outcomes from a comprehensive NHS workforce survey that showed where in Wales orthodontic providers were located, and agreed to send a copy to the Committee once it was available.

2.3 Dan Cook agreed to provide information about average pay for general dentists, including any differences in pay among those who provide NHS services and those who provide private services.
